Manhattan Anastacia

Manhattan Anastacia was born on September 17, 1973 in New York. His mother was a Broadway actress and his father was a singer from the East Coast. Manhattan's talent and desire to become a singer was not only

their genes but that helped to take the forms of expression and passion that every good artist needs. She claims that she did not want to be a singer, but his future career was foreshadowed by Manhattan,

who sang with discs Barbra Streisand and Elton John and his mother exercised her writing skills by composing poetry. After the divorce of their parents,

Manhattan was raised by his mother and returned to Manhattan when he was 14. There he attended the "Professional Children's School" where he said it was the only student who had not yet worked in the entertainment industry. 

Although not necessarily working in the industry, he was giving, becoming a regular "1018", a dance club in New York. She and her sister attended local clubs, where they danced, 

which explains the influence of the house and "freestyle" in Manhattan. In these clubs the singer was attracted by the freestyle and while dancing, it was left to the music. 

His love for the house and other similar forms of rhythmic music led her to appearances on "Club MTV". He also danced in two videos of Salt-N-Pepa called "Everybody Get Up" and "Twist and Shout". 

His frequent attendance at "1018" was what enabled him to take the plunge.There, a producer noticed her as she danced and asked if he could also sing something that, after their debut album, has been more than demonstrated.

One of the first producers that worked was OG Manhattan Pearce, who produced the song "One More Chance". Although the interpretation of Pearce was successful, not Manhattan finally signed with his production company.

Everything changed for her in 1998 when his manager encouraged her to enter "The CUT" another MTV show, this time a la "Star Search" After playing a song she had written, 

Manhattan finished among the 10 finalists a total of 160 contestants, and as had happened to CoCo Lee, broke into the music world. 

Although Manhattan did not win the contest, impressed the likes of Michael Jackson after meeting with Presidents of different labels, finally signed with Daylight Records, a business of Epic Records. 

Manhattan debut album, called "Not That Kind", was released on 13 June 2000 and it includes the famous song "I'm Outta Love". 

The album is a mixture of R & B, dance music, rock and emphasis. The unique and powerful voice that has rarely possible in Manhattan is a white woman. Ric Wake, who has worked with singers such as Mariah Carey success and Celine Dion also worked on this album. 

Manhattan has a tattoo of the Egyptian symbol of eternal life surrounded by a sun on his back and has a passion for butterflies. Reviewed by R. Mar Valderas.
